TESTING & CHARACTERISATION

We test real parts, mechanisms and products to understand how they actually behave.

Functional testing, robustness testing, characterisation, bespoke fixtures and data analysis.

TECHNOLOGY EXPLORATION

We conduct proof of principle testing to assess technologies and understand whether they are suitable for a specific product, application or use case.

This can include comparing candidate mechanisms, materials, components or subsystems, then using structured evidence to decide which routes are worth developing further.

CHARACTERISATION TESTING

We characterise products, mechanisms and components to understand their real performance limits.

This can include force, torque, flow, wear, pressure, thermal behaviour, and many other tests to inform an understanding of how a product works in practice.

BESPOKE TEST FIXTURES

We design and build test fixtures around the specific questions a project needs to answer.

These fixtures allow us to isolate variables, repeat tests consistently and generate useful data from parts, mechanisms or assemblies that standard test equipment cannot easily assess.

DATA ANALYSIS

We turn test outputs into clear engineering evidence.

Our custom analysis pipeline converts test data into completed analyses in a fraction of the time that conventional tools take. This shortens our test and iterate cycles down substantially.

FUNCTIONAL TESTING

We test whether parts, mechanisms and products perform the function they were designed to deliver.

This can include actuation, sealing, latching, dispensing, loading, alignment, movement, force response or any other behaviour that determines whether the design works.

ROBUSTNESS TESTING

We test how designs behave under demanding or repeated use conditions.

This can include drop, impact, fatigue, misuse, environmental exposure, wear and other stress conditions that help reveal weak points before the product reaches users.
